And the Award goes to Gucci

Last night was the 2012 Golden Globe awards. As glamorous as the actors looked in their ensemble I usually pay attention to the designers behind the gowns. My  award for designer of the evening goes to Gucci. The majority of the dresses came from the Gucci Première collection, which fabrics and construction behind each piece are just mind blowing. These are my crème de la crème...

Sleek and sexy, Evan Rachel wood took a refreshing plunge in this scaled mermaid look,  pulled off with sequins and feathers...all my favorite things. This midnight green dress is embroidered with overlapping fish scale paillettes and ostrich plumes, flowing into a full skirt of iridescent feathers.

Jessica Alba presented wearing a Gucci pale lilac Première silk charmeuse embroidered evening gown. The dress features crystal encrusted organza petals, light crystal drops and a high-waisted sash that drapes into a pleated train.

Presenter Salma Hayek-Pinault wore a Gucci Art Deco strapless evening gown with a black satin evening clutch. The dress features a graphic bustier embroidered with antique gold and silver glass bugle beads, thin beaded black belt and a fully embroidered liquid skirt of vertical lines of glass beads and black satin peep toe evening shoes.
Salma Hayek-Pinault my bestie of the evening wore a two piece. A graphic bustier embroidered with antique gold and silver bugle beads, thin beaded black belt and a fully embroidered liquid skirt of vertical lines of glass bead. Wow!

XOXO!
