The Showstoppers of Paris Couture Fall 2012

Paris Fall 2012 couture fashion shows just ended and it was amazing. I always anticipate the end of each show, where designers showcase the showstoppers of all showstoppers. No haute couture show is ever complete without the bride and the wedding gown. *As i gasp just thinking about it.  Here are some of my favorite finale constructions from the Fall 2012 Couture shows.

Just a side note: In France, the term haute couture is protected by law and is defined by the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Paris based in Paris, France. The chambre syndicale de la haute couture is defined as "the regulating commission that determines which fashion houses are eligible to be true haute couture house". Their rules state that only "those companies mentioned on the list drawn up each year by a commission domiciled at the Ministry for Industry are entitled to avail themselves" of the label haute couture.
