The Allure of the Maasai

The Maasai are a ethnic group of semi-nomadic people located in Kenya and nothern Tanzania in east Africa. They are famous for their unique customs, noble physique and vibrant dress. Not to mention the most amazing beaded jewelry.  No wonder why many luxury companies have placed them in national ads.

In 2003 the Land Rover Freelander was developed after studying the Maasai tribe.

  2. Love their jewelry. I hope they don't change their ways and become Westernized. Too many beautiful African tribes have been exploited to the point that they are unrecognizable.
