Kente at the Olympics

For the past week I've been in London for the Olympics. It has been exhilarating and the energy in the city has been electric. I'm here with my dear cousin Mera, who just started a sports blog Scramble for Gold, it is a must read. I was especially excited to see the Cameroonian women's soccer team, even though they didn't make it to the semi-finals, I was so proud of the Lioness and their first Olympic debut.

Celebration with the Family

This past weekend, my younger brother Godlove graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in business and finance. He is the first boy in the family to receive a college education. It was a proud moment and we were thrilled the entire family was there to celebrate. We are such a close family so anytime spent with each other is priceless.

Fashionista Wear: Horses and Fascinators

This weekend I went to the Virginia Gold Cup Races. A sort of Kentucky Derby like setting, but on a smaller scale. The weather was beautiful and my company was even better.
