Fashionista Wear: Red Ballerina

Spring/summer arrived so quickly and I was yearning to be a ballerina, really random. Since I never succeeded in my lesson, I thought wearing this fun outfit will have to do.

I adore ruffles

IKEA's Haute Fashion Show

This weekend was the Washington Home & Garden Show, which took place at the Washington convention center. I was asked to model in what was called an unconventional "fashion" show of sorts. Yes it's a mouthful. The show was to show off pieces from the new 2012 Ikea collection, which are all available in stores now and super affordable.

I had the opportunity to both be the opening and closing model.  Thanks to the whole crew, it was a blast. Here are a few pics and video clip.

Fashion is subjective

I always say fashion is subjective. Take for example three different trends that I spotted at the Lincoln center and see how everyone put their spin on it.

Translations of color popping (not blocking)

Interpretations of black

Lesson: sometimes fashion is just what it is fashion. You can't take yourself or others too seriously.

                                                       Enjoy!!!
