Celebration with the Family

This past weekend, my younger brother Godlove graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in business and finance. He is the first boy in the family to receive a college education. It was a proud moment and we were thrilled the entire family was there to celebrate. We are such a close family so anytime spent with each other is priceless.

Congrats to all the Graduates

Last week was filled with lots of graduations and celebrations. I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to the graduates. Here is to Stella, Merabell and Godlove. Love you all and thanks for being an inspiration to many.

Stella managed to finish her nursing degree even though she is a wife, a mother of three girls ages 3,5 and 6. Way to go Stella.

Mera is a busy working professional and a shining example for many young professionals.

Business  and finance degree from Morgan State University- my younger brother Godlove, we are all so proud. After taking a five year break from school, Godlove decided to go back and finish. He is the first boy from our family to get a college degree. Prime example of finish what you start.

MET Gala 2012- Best Dress List

Last Monday was the The Costume Institute Gala held at the New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is also referred to as "fashion's Oscars, ". The perfect combination of fashion and art.  For the annual fete, this years showcasing "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations," the museum's new exhibition. I loved how all the celebrities and designers bring their sartorial A-game. These are my favorite looks.

Fashionista Wear: Horses and Fascinators

This weekend I went to the Virginia Gold Cup Races. A sort of Kentucky Derby like setting, but on a smaller scale. The weather was beautiful and my company was even better.
